Syronics is a front company for the acquisition of equipment used in the development of chemical weapons by the SSRC. As such, it was responsible for developing chemical weapons and ballistic missiles for use by the Syrian Government, who are responsible for violent repression against the civilian population. Moreover, it is owned or controlled directly or indirectly by the Syrian Government.

There are reasonable grounds to suspect that they are an involved person under the Syria (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 because they are or have been involved in activities carried out on behalf of the Assad regime, implementing or connected to the repressive police of that regime and/or involved in supporting or benefitting from the Assad regime.
