MIKHAIL MARATOVICH FRIDMAN is a prominent Russian businessman and pro-Kremlin oligarch. FRIDMAN is involved in obtaining a benefit from or supporting the Government of Russia through his positions on the Supervisory Board of the Alfa Group, and the Board of Directors of ABH Holdings S.A., owner of Russia’s largest privately owned bank 'Alfa-Bank (Russia)’, which are carrying on business in a sector or sectors of strategic significance to the Government of Russia. FRIDMAN is closely associated with President Vladimir Putin, and is therefore associated with an individual who is involved in destabilising and threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
