Svetlana Zhuravlova is a Senior Assistant of the Meshchansky Interdistrict Prosecutor’s Office. She served as a prosecutor during Alexei Gorinov’s trial. Mr. Gorinov is a local activist and municipal deputy, who was sentenced to 7 years imprisonment on politically-motivated charges pursuant to Article 207.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on the dissemination of deliberately false information about the actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
